On January 31, 2013, Bob was diagnosed with prostate cancer. His last PSA number was 5.62, not high but
higher than normal and since his father died of prostate cancer the doctor
suggested a biopsy and that was how it was found. His Gleason score is 7, on a scale of 1 to 10
it shows the aggressiveness of the cancer cells, 10 being the most
aggressive. So something needed to be
done.
This blog will be about a journey. First it is Bob’s journey to rid his body of
what does not belong there. It is also
my journey as his partner to encourage, love and nurture him through this
ordeal. And then it is our journey, as a
couple we want to stay healthy and happy into our older years.
